CloudSec 2017 is back in town on 5 September at the Park PLaza Westminster Bridge Hotel.
This yearly event hosted by Trend Micro is a forum for some of the best and brightest minds in the field of cybersecurity to present the next big trends in network threats and attack vectors based on research and historical data over the past 12 months.
Enterprises and organisations are facing next-tier, multifaceted threats that are both familiar and uncharted. As the cloud and the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem become more interconnected, it is essential for organisations to re-evaluate and redefine their understanding of threats, risks, and solutions in an ever-changing landscape. With that, organisations and enterprises must ask: what threats should they prepare for? What risks are involved? What processes and procedures should be implemented?
Secon Cyber Security’s very own Technical Director, David King, will be a panel participant along with Simon Kellow, CISO at Ofgem; Simon Collins, Director at EY; and Peter Erceg, SVP at Lockton, on the subject of Getting Incident Response in the Cloud Right, which everyone is welcome to attend. The 30 minute panel discussion is scheduled to begin at 11:30 in Track 2.
David, aside from being a GDPR practitioner and data classification guru, is also in charge of putting our Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service together. Most recently, David spoke on this very subject at our very own Brooklands Buzz event held a fortnight ago.
Registration for CloudSec 2017: Level Up – IT Security Technologies, Policies and Compliance is now open and free to attend.
But hurry, capacity is limited.
