Versions before Chrome Firefox 85.0.1
What you need to know:
Mozilla announced the release of Firefox 85.0.1, which includes a fix preventing a Windows 10 NTFS corruption bug from being launched via the browser. It was reported last month that the said flaw in Windows 10 and XP could allow non-admin users to mark an NTFS volume as dirty.
Actions to be taken:
Existing Firefox users can upgrade to version 85.0.1 by going into the Firefox Menu and selecting Help -> About Firefox. Firefox will then check for a new update, install it, and then prompt to relaunch Firefox to complete the installation.
