COVID-19 – Secon Cyber’s assurance to Customers

Secon Cyber has implemented our Business Continuity Plan covering entire business, including our security operations centre and back office functions, in response to the impact of COVID-19. Our focus is on safeguarding the health of our employees and minimising the impact on the delivery of services to you.

Secon Cyber has put the following measures in place:

Working remotely: All Secon Cyber employees’ work can be conducted through remote connections which enables teams to work off-site to perform all our business processes. Our teams in the UK and Philippines are working remotely and in insolation to mitigate the risk of others becoming infected.

Safety On-Site: All customer projects are being conducted remotely. We are following Government guidelines on social distancing and therefore will only consider co-location/on-site visits under exceptional circumstances. Any on-site visits will follow appropriate social distancing and hygiene guidelines.  

Supply Chain: Our supply chain is predominantly made up of security software/solution vendors where the product or solution can be procured, deployed and configured remotely. We have now reviewed the impact of COVID-19 on our supply chain and at this stage, we do not see any impact. However, we shall continue to review this on an ongoing basis.

Priorities: Our priority is to ensure our customers continue to receive uninterrupted service and support from us. However I am sure you will understand that under the current extraordinary times, we may be asked to make necessary adjustments to focus on some Customers such as those now categorised as Front Line businesses/organisations dealing with COVID-19. Should this be the case, we shall send out updates and keep you informed of any changes.
