Event planning is not an easy job. It’s riddled with challenges and high-stress situations, yet some organisers seem to thrive. There are hardly any jobs that offer you the same scope of creativity, socialising and travel than a career in event management. No two days are ever the same. At the busiest of times, you may be up from the crack of dawn and out at parties and launches until the late hours. That’s very typical for an event planner, and though it can be exhausting it’s also exhilarating to see an event come off just as you’d planned.
Working closely with clients to plan and deliver a successful event is extremely rewarding. The necessary tasks that lead up to an event can be tedious and exhausting, and planning the perfect event within the confines of a tight budget can be extremely challenging. However, for those that have the right makeup for it, event planning results in personal satisfaction and unique experiences that expose you to different people and places.
That being said, our business development manager Sony Vengayil has done a tremendous job over the last 6 months in organising industry as well as client engagement events aligned to our business goals. Secon Cyber have participated in recent high-level industry events such as the R3 summit, IP EXPO Europe and the NHS Expo. Thanks to Sony’s hard work and dedication we have been given a platform on which to expose a rebranded Secon Cyber. The feedback for our stands at these events has been extremely positive and we have benefited from an increased level of lead retention.
Going into the New Year you can expect to see Secon Cyber exhibit in and organise many more events, including GovSec, InfoSec and IP EXPO Europe with the indispensable help of Sony.
