Secon Cyber awarded Thycotic International Emerging VAR of the Year 2018

Secon Cyber has experienced a fruitful start to its partnership with Thycotic over the last year. PAM is a trending solution that is expected to impact the market outlook from 2018 – 2022. Gartner states that “By 2019, 30% of new PAM purchases will be delivered as a service or run in the cloud”. With the evident growing interest in Privileged Account Management (PAM), Secon Cyber identified an opportunity to break into the market with a reputable and innovative vendor such as Thycotic.

Over the last 12 months, Secon Cyber has been successfully educating its current client base on the benefits of PAM. Dedicated marketing campaigns have been delivered as well as targeted sales call outs and devoted webinars that are designed to educate further and inform people on how PAM can reinforce their security infrastructure and protect their passwords.

Off the back of last year’s success, Secon Cyber was recognised by Thycotic as the International emerging VAR of the year 2018 at last week’s International Partner Unlocked event in Nice.

Head of marketing at Secon Cyber, Marion Barnham, who joined the organisation in December 2017 has played an integral role in building a stronger relationship with Thycotic and driving a structured marketing plan to maximise Thycotic sales. Marion delivered a presentation about channel marketing and what it’s been like for Secon Cyber to partner with Thycotic.
